Charli - A Service Dog For a Veteran With PTSD
My husband is an Army veteran with five deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. He didn't come back the same. And when he left the Army after 14 years, he had an extreme case of PTSD. Simple tasks like going to the grocery store or even out to dinner and the movies gave him panic attacks and he had fear just to live every day life. I was in search of not a cure but something to help him cope. I did some research and found that maybe a service dog would be in his best interest. I was a little picky about finding the right dog and when I mean picky I mean non shedding! After much research I came across Denise and Celebrity Pups. I felt like I needed to contact her. I explained our situation and she was very helpful and she said she had the perfect dog for us and offered it at no cost to us for my husband's service to his country! We drove 8 hours to meet our new family member. She instantly connected with my husband! After we brought her home, we wanted to test out her easy going temperament and at just four months old we decided to take her with us to the movies. We thought that she wasn't going to be able to sit through it, being a puppy but she did! She laid right next to my husband the entire movie. We kept testing what we could do with a puppy and she can do anything! She was super easy to train and was a pro by six months old! She goes on vacations with us and never leaves my husband's side. She even has a seat to ride on his motorcycle. Since having our Charli-Girl my husband no longer goes through his anxiety attacks and even enrolled in our local college where he takes Charli with him to his classes. We couldn't imagine our life without her. She has saved him. She knows when he's stressed and having an attack and calms him down. She even helps with his nightmares at night. When he starts to shake in his sleep she lays on his chest and slowly wakes him up. I no longer worry about leaving my husband at home while I am at work because of Charli. I don't think I can ever thank Denise enough for donating Charli to us and bringing her into our lives. She is currently almost 10 months old and doing great. Getting a Whoodle was the best decision we have ever made!

Kona - A Therapy Dog for Nursing Homes
Hi
Here is a picture of Kona who turned One today. She is so loving, playful and friendly. She loves people, especially kids and other dogs. People always comment on how beautiful she is and especially how soft and of course comment on her eyelashes! People always ask what breed she is and when I tell them Whoodle they smile and want to know all about that breed. She has accompanied me to a few of my nursing homes and is very observant and gives residents kisses. She's going to make a wonderful therapy dog. Will be certifying her as a therapy dog but I am fortunate that I Consult in nursing homes so I can get her used to them ahead of time. She does seem to sniff out the people that need her most. There was a lady that was sitting in her room receiving treatment and Kona immediately wanted to go to her and another that waved us in because she missed her own dog. After the visit she smiled and said thank you, I really miss my dog and that helped to see yours. I will be sure to send you more updates as we progress in our therapy dog experience.
We are so happy she is a part of our lives.
Thank you,

Phoebe - Whoodle Puppy Serving as a Service Dog For a Child With Anxiety
This is the latest review from one of our families we donated a Whoodle puppy to. This family had adopted a daughter who suffered from severe anxiety so they contacted us looking for a service dog. We told them we had the perfect pup for them. A little black Whoodle who their daughter named Phoebe.
Oh Denise! Our Whoodle, Phoebe is doing so well! She lives with Michelle the Service Dog trainer during the week and then comes home on the weekends where we get to practice the latest training.
Phoebe just started alerting to our daughter, Faithie. She isnt even six months yet. During church on Sunday, she sensed Faithie's anxiety, licked her feet, then she placed her paw on her and sat up and looked directly in Faithie's eyes. Faithie was sitting by our trainer and she taught her to respond to Phoebe. Phoebe laid down with her head resting on Faithie's foot. Halfway thru the service she moved her head but had a paw on Faithie the whole time. Faithie is getting attached and they are bonding. We are so impressed with how smart she is and how in tune she is with Faithie's needs at such a young age.
I will keep sending updates. We are so grateful to you for giving her to us!!

Hobi - Certified Therapy Dog
Hi Denise, My first Wheaten (Hobi) is going to be 2 soon. Hobi is an amazing dog. He is incredibly calm. He is so gentle and loving. My grandson who is three loves to tackle him. Hobi rolls happily across the 50 yard line time and time again ... pops right back up for any kind of play time that comes his way..be it a ball, a good tug of war or just a brisk walk/run in the park. When I bring him to my granddaughter's school we are flocked by 3rd graders! Hobi is energetic but also loves his downtime....he is a a quiet sort of fella and rarely barks. Even when other dogs bark at him he does not bark back. People stop me wherever I go to ask me about him. In fact if I want to get any attention at all I must leave Hobi at home. He is our official church dog and sits quietly aside me unless it's time to get up and sing...then Hobi stands to attention. My husband's work requires him to travel but Hobi is my constant companion and friend. In this last year Hobi has been trained as a Therapy Dog and accompanies me to Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers for Women. Hobi is very intelligent and seems to have a unique sixth sense ... often finding the person in the room who needs the most love.
What a WONDERFUL WHEATEN he is! I don't know how you do it....but your wheatens are above and beyond ... they are the best! The joy my wheaten has brought to my family is so special...so as my story goes.
Much Regards,
Rita T. and Family

Taffy - Seizure Alert Dog for a Child with Epilepsy
Hi Denise, how have you been? I am glad to tell you that Taffy, the Whoodle puppy you donated to me to be my seizure alert dog is doing very well and is becoming a perfect service dog. I have had 3 seizures where I had Taffy with me. Every 10-15 minutes she came and licked my face checking on me. At 4 months of age, she has learned to go potty on command and she now knows how to sit, lie down and sit-up. She stays by my side constantly and is perfectly behaved when we take her out to public areas and restaurants. She is already at the level of a 14 month old dog!
I am so happy to have her. You are the kindest person I've met, pairing me up with the perfect puppy. Whoodles truly are a great breed and there is something special about your puppies
Thank you again,
Toni L.

Standard Whoodle Pup Luna - In Training to be a Service & Emotional Support Dog
Here's the latest review sent to us from someone who adopted one of our Whoodle pups to be her service and emotional support dog. She suffers from anxiety and needed a dog to take everywhere with her to provide emotional support and comfort. From the looks of it, they're perfect for each other! Luna will be attending college classes with her new owner in the Fall. Luna's mom had 5 of her puppies adopted for service dog work, their temperament was perfect for the job.
Hi Celebrity Pups
Luna is so beautiful and sweet. Very eager to please. I couldn't be more happy with her. She never leaves my side.
Thank you again,

Mini Whoodle Flynn - In Training to be a Service Dog for a Veteran with PTSD
Hey Denise, Thought I would give you a follow up on our mini Whoodle Flynn. My husband picked him up from the airport and brought him home, he has been sleeping lots, loves snuggles and loves our kids. They are practically inseparable! We took him to the lake today, so he got a bath when we got home and he wasn’t very happy with me for a little bit. We are all so in love with him and he is just the perfect guy for us. He starts his training for a PTSD service dog in two weeks where he will go to a training center for 2 weeks and live there. Then my husband will take him there weekly for a few hours of training until he is 6 months old. After that, he will do a 3 week training where he will live there to finish all his training. And if everything goes well, he will be finished. I’ll try to remember to update you how all the training works out. He is proving to us that he is a picky eater so we are trying to work with that, but we’re not too concerned. Here he is with my kids playing in the background
Thanks!
Camille C.

Wheaten Terrier Cali – Support Dog for Someone with PTSD
Hi Denise. It’s been a while since we’ve contacted you. Cali (aka Sheba) came to us on August 13th of 2016. We are so happy to have her as a part of our family. Cali brought with her a heart ❤️ filled with never ending love. She recently turned one on 6/23. How quickly time goes. My husband suffers from PTSD and Cali is a soothing and calming presence in his life. Cali was a God send for him. Always loving and comforting him when he goes through a PTSD episode. We plan on having her certified as a Therapy dog. She will most certainly bring happiness for those in need of comfort. She absolutely loves people and children. She feels that everyone she encounters on our daily walks, she should stop and say Hi to.
Attached is Cali’s photo. She truly is a loving and gentle addition to our
family.
With warm regards,
Mary Lou S.

Whoodle Puppy Lyle – His Owner calls him her Co-Therapist
Lyle’s father, Prince Charming, produces a very sensitive, intuitive nature in his puppies. As a young puppy, I could tell Lyle was going to be a perfect fit for Eileen to help her with her patients in her therapy business. Lyle provides clients with any needed emotional support or comfort during their therapy session.
Hi Denise,
It is so great to hear from you! Lyle is wonderful and is doing great. He works with me when I see my patients and is a wonderful companion to me. I’m sending you several pictures of Lyle.He is 37 lbs. and he is really a good listener as my co-therapist. I work at home as a therapist and my patients love him (and of course so do I)!!
How are you doing ?
Thanks so much for reaching out,
Eileen & Lyle

Whoodle Hammer - Without any Training He Became a Service Dog for a Child with Autism
We have a 1 year old male whoodle. I keep saying to my husband that he was meant to be a service dog. We have a child with autism and our “Hammer” is so in tune with our son’s emotions and mine to! What is amazing about our Whoodle “Hammer” is that he hasn’t had any official therapy training and he does things physically to us when we get upset. He paws my son’s shoulder when he is upset and keeps kissing him. He does the same to me. He is extremely intelligent!
After our Wheaten passed away, we agreed on a Whoodle. Best dog on the planet. Extremely lovable, loyal and smart! Fantastic with all 5 of our children!

Mini Whoodle Flynn - In Training to be a Service Dog for a Veteran with PTSD
We love our Flynny (Flynn) he is an amazing dog, so sweet and loves everyone. When we first received him he was a little bit shy but opened up almost immediately, now at 6 months old he is almost fully potty trained, has completed the first half of is training as a therapy dog with flying colors, and will go back in 6 weeks for another 2 weeks to test and finish up. He is a very quick learner, I’ve taught him sit, stay, come, no no, beg, paw, and we’re working on heel. Our little boy used to be terrified of dogs before Flynn came along, now they are best friends and partners in crime.
The vet here in town was very impressed with the records kept on him and was excited to see that the Vet used for his care, was the same vet he went to school with and was the top of her class. So he was excited to see where she ended up and we were excited to know our pup was very well taken care of the first 8 weeks of life.

Wheaten Terrier Maggie, an Autism Service Dog
Hi Denise! Hope all is well. We absolutely love our Wheaten Maggie that we got from you 3 years ago! She’s just absolutely wonderful in every way. I can’t even begin to tell you what she has done for our son. He’s 15 now & went through a 6 week depressive episode this summer & she literally carried him (and my hubby & I) through it. Being a teenager with autism is incredibly difficult. And he always says that “His girl makes everything better.”
Maggie is so therapeutic for Joe. She has calmed him in the middle of crises/meltdowns and also supported him through anxiety & depression. She is for sure “His Girl!”
Maggie and Joe have such a strong bond. She’s such a gift. I’ll never forget the day you said she would be perfect for our family. We had wanted a male & Maggie was all that was left. You told us how exceptionally sweet her father’s pups were & that she would be a perfect fit for Joe. Well you were 100000% right. She’s more than we could have ever wished for. Such a special girl with a beautiful spirit.
She’s unlike any pup we’ve ever had. It’s impossible to be upset around her. She brings joy and peace to everyday in our home. We treasure her. And can’t believe that she will be 3 soon. Time sure did fly!
Here are some pics of Joe & Maggie together.

Standard Whoodle Ellie Mae Passed her Test to be an Official Therapy Dog
Hi Denise,
Ellie had her pet therapy evaluation today. I was more stressed than she was but we passed! Yeah...she is officially a therapy dog. They said they were very surprised because usually pups only a year old don't usually pass because they are too immature. They were very surprised by her.
She is so sweet, gentle and smart and loves everybody including all other dogs. She also loves kids so we visit children as well. Everyone loves her eyelashes and her black muzzle and her coat. Everyone thinks she is gorgeous dog. I hope she will bring joy to people while visiting them that they can forget for a moment about what is going on in their lives and enjoy her company. Maybe even improve their health and outlook with repeated visits.
Thanks for giving me such a wonderful dog! She is exceptional!
