We're located in Southern California on a 10 acre farm. Our dogs are treated like members of our family and they have the best care along with daily attention, affection and exercise.
Our puppies are continually selected for Starring roles in Disney Movies, Feature Films, TV shows, Commercials and Print Ads. The reason they're chosen for these roles is due to their Intelligence & Train-Ability (Movie Star Good Looks Also helps!) We handle our puppies extensively from birth and it shows in their Outgoing, Friendly Nature and Train-Ability.
Many of our Puppies are now being adopted for service dog work and some are fully functioning service dogs by as early as 4 months of age. We know the early socializing we give our puppies plays a big part in their success as a Service Dog. We have service dog trainers flying here from all over the country to pick out puppies for their clients. They know they can trust us to provide them with a puppy who has the calm temperament and superior intelligence needed for the job.
We do extensive genetic testing on our breeding dogs to ensure their puppies will have a long life with their new owner free of genetic disorders or joint problems. Our Wheatens are DNA tested for PLN.
If you're considering purchasing a Wheaten or Whoodle, make sure the parents are DNA tested for PLN. Up to 20% of Wheatens are affected. We hear the heartbreaking stories all the time from people who come to us looking for a PLN negative puppy after unknowingly buying one from a breeder who didn't test for it and losing their dog to this Deadly Genetic condition. If affected with PLN, a Wheaten or Whoodle will pass away from Kidney Failure by age 6 and there is no cure.
We also do extensive testing on our poodles for the many genetic defects they potentially carry. Defects like PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) causes early blindness by age 4. We test each of our poodles and make sure they are clear of PRA before breeding. We find the majority of Whoodle breeders in the USA are not testing their breeding dogs for these serious genetic conditions.
We have tremendous compassion for our military heroes. We offer Military and Veteran discounts and also donate our Whoodles to Veterans struggling with PTSD and other types of disabilities. If you, or anyone you know is in need of a service dog, contact us and we'll be glad to help out.
